We ARE the latest news!

We began our journey starting in Febraury of 2013. We had this idea to create something that STL's acting community could use and abuse as a sort of vehicle to produce their "passion projects." Theatre Lab wants to provide a "production machine" to it's STL acting talent, so we can get the best, most passionate, inspired and fresh material up on it's feet, allowing the talent to focus on what they do best and letting us take care of the dirty work. We want YOU to see work hand picked by it's performers.

"We are actors. We're different."

Please forgive any "barren" areas of our website, as we are brand SPANKIN' new! We look forward to having more to share with you very soon! Thanks for visiting! Please, also, visit our Facebook page and click "like"! Click the icon here...

Something is Cookin'!

While we are still ironing out some details, we are excited to say that our next full length project is going to epitomize Theatre Lab's mission. It will be a sort of professional premiere of a  work by a playwrite from Iowa, by the name of Rob Merit. It's funny, it's NEW, it's heartbreaking... And it's set in the future!

Please visit us soon, as we will be finalizing plans (where, when, auditions etc...) in the near future. Keep an eye out, actors, for an opportunity to be a part of this progressive and beautiful work. Information about auditions can be found by click the tab at the top of the page! If it's not there, check back soon.

COMING SOON: "The Summerland Project" By Rob Merritt

Theatre Lab's 24 Hour Play Fest Will Return!!

After our amazing feedback from our first shot at the festival in November, we have decided to slate the event as a twice a year endeavor. It's an excellent way to keep our theatre commnity intergrated. It's a beautiful excuse to write 5 original works. It's a riot of a show, when it's all said and done. AND, we want to be sure that we are giving our actors a fun way to play with others... maybe even get to work with people they'd never otherwise get a chance to work with.

It was a remarkably successful event and we are looking forward to making a habit of it. If you missed it in November, some of the works can be found by clicking the "Media" tab at the top of the page. Stay tuned for ways to get involved this next go around!
